CAMS Earns No. 1 Ranking in State

The California Academy of Mathematics and Science ranked No. 1 among magnet high schools statewide according to niche.com’s new list of California’s top high schools. Several other Long Beach Unified School District high schools ranked highly overall and in the magnet category.

In Niche’s magnet category, 菠菜网lol正规平台’s Sato Academy of Mathematics and Science ranked 9, McBride High School ranked 21, and Renaissance High School for the Arts ranked 64. Renaissance also ranked 25th among best high schools for the arts in California.

Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores and feedback from niche.com users.

Also making the list of best California schools were Sato, Poly, McBride, Millikan, Wilson, Renaissance and Lakewood high schools.

CAMS also earned the top magnet spot back in 2019. This year, CAMS earned an A-plus grade in the categories of academics, teachers, diversity, college prep, and health and safety. The school earned high marks for science, technology, math and engineering (STEM) while ranking fourth overall among 1,898 of the “Best Public High Schools in California” and 44th overall among 19,984 of the “Best Public High Schools in America.”

菠菜网lol正规平台 operates CAMS on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills. The high school has earned numerous national honors, including the National Blue Ribbon Award, and a ranking by U.S. News and World report as the top magnet school in California.
